The buildings at Vrolikstraat 256, 258 and 260 were sold by Stadswacht B.V. in May 2013. purchased. After delivery, the employees of Stadswacht B.V. entered into discussions with the tenants of the homes. The state of maintenance of buildings was therefore very poor. After drawing up an action plan with all tenants, all tenants were moved one by one to another higher-quality and affordable rental property. After the last tenant left the building in February 2014, Stadswacht B.V. immediately started working on this major project. After completely demolishing everything inside, the contractor started repairing all three foundations. The further work consisted of realizing an extension on the ground floor and creating terraces on the 1st floor. Deepening the balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floors and creating a roof structure on the 5th floor with roof terraces on either side. After renovation, the buildings were split into 15 rights and then rented out.
